2000, Black

'Keeping Up Appearances' (Paul Black, R. 2000). Seedling# C7A. TB, 37" (94 cm). Late midseason bloom. Standards rose purple base and midrib blending to mauvish pink, with slight gilt edge; style arms salmon pink, edged gold; falls mauve pearl center blending to rosy mauve to buffy gold edge, hafts rosy mauve, purplish veins in throat; beards orange, base white; slight musky fragrance. 'Born Beautiful' X seedling# A72A: ('Designer's Rage' x 'Hawaiian Queen'). Mid-America 2000. Honorable Mention 2002; Award of Merit 2004.
