Jim Hedgecock, R. 2013). Seedling# V-20-A. 32". Early bloom. Standards dark red, slight yellow infusions at midribs; falls yellow, white areas around beards, 1/2" dark red plicata pattern border, fluted; beards burnt-brown; ruffled.

Hybridizer;'s Comment: Ruffled standards are dark reddish purple with slight yellow white infusions at midribs. Falls are ruffled yellow grounds with white flash at beards. Edges bordered with 1/2 inch dark reddish purple plicata borders. Mild, pleasant fragrance. Kimosabe comes from 2 rebloom iris parents, but rebloom is untested. Wonderful stalks and bud count.
