'King's Castle' (Melba Hamblen, R. 1981). Seedling# H74-81T. TB, 36" (91 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Ruffled dark royal purple (RHS 83A); near black beard. Seedling# H71-178E: ('Nobleman' x 'Valley West' sibling) X 'His Lordship'. Mission Bell 1982.
