(TB) 'King's Highway'

1965, Smith

'King's Highway' (Catherne and Kenneth Smith, R. 1962). Seedling# 60-8. TB, 37" (94 cm), Early to late bloom. Color Class-Y1L, Light golden-yellow self. From seedling involving 'Silver Hawk', 'Golden Hawk', 'Cascade Splendor', etc. Smith 1965.

From AIS Bulletin #177, April 1965. Introducing KINGS HIGHWAY E.M.L. 37" $25.00 Net. (57-31 x 56-26) Sib to ENTERPRISE. Buttercup yellow with small white area around yellow beard. Flowers are large and ruffled. The falls flare horizontally. Awarded HC in 1963 under number 60-8. Smith.
