1967, Brown

'La Juana' (Rex Brown, R. 1966). Seedling# 61-21-10. TB, 38" (97 cm). Early midseason bloom. Color Class-YO5P, Standards peach-pink; falls blend of lemon yellow and peach-pink, lighter in center; bushy tangerine beard. 'Green Quest' X 'Jan Elizabeth'. Brown's Iris Garden 1967.

Variety was named for Rex and Alta Brown's eldest child and only daughter, La Juana Alta Brown.

A large, wide, ruffled and lacy flower with peach pink standards and blended pink and yellow falls; bright bushy tangerine beard. Excellent form, substance and branching.
