'Laced Fringes' (Edgar Sellman, R. 1978). Seedling# C-25. TB, 34" (86 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Standards bishop's violet; falls campanula violet; orange beard; heavily laced. ('Queen's Lace' x 'Frilly Fringes') X 'Flyaway'. Sellman 1978.

From AIS Bulletin #229, Spring 1978 Introducing LACED FRINGES-Sdlg. C-25. TB, 34", M. (Queen's Lace x Frilly Fringes) X Flyaway. Closed S. are bishop's violet; flaring, crisp F. are campanula violet. From a short distance it appears to be a self. Orange beard. All petals and stylearms are heavily fringed in lace. Flowers are large. $25.00. Sellman's Iris Gardens.
