From AIS Bulletin #213 April 1974 Introducing LACY ELEGANCE (Rex Brown '74). 68-2-2: (Azure Lace X 63-62-2: (Lovely Letty x Magicolor)). 34", TB, M. A lacy-edged flower of smooth orchid (Wilson aster violet 38/1) with beard slightly lighter. The flower lightens as it matures. Very nice form with wide, ruffled, flaring falls and domed standards. Three branches and terminal with nine buds. A nice show stalk as it often has three well-placed flowers open at once. Net $25.00. J&J Iris Garden. |
