From Perry's Hardy Plant Farm catalog, 1924: LADY SACKVILLE (No. 132). A very beautiful variety, medium height, large well-formed flowers; S delightful shade of silvery-blue; F rich violet-purple, with a wonderful orange beard. 30/- each.
From Bonnewitz catalog, 1927: LADY SACKVILLE (Perry). S. velvety lavender; F. deeper lavender-blue with red-brown markings on cream base. Orange beard. Style arms yellow with lavender-blue through center. The style arms and beard give a pleasing glow to the flower. Similar to Afterglow but the bloom is larger and grows taller than that variety. Well branched. Height, 40 to 44 inches. $7.50.

From Quality Gardens catalog 1930: LADY SACKVILLE (Perry 1923) V.L. 38" Very large, well formed flowers. S. a delightful shade of very light silvery blue. F. a rich dark blue purple. While this is a correct description of the color it gives no adequate idea of the great beauty of the flower. The very marked contrast between the very light blue standards and the very dark falls make this a marvelously beautiful flower and a very outstanding one. $2.50.
