William E. Jones, R. 1984). Seedling# 75-146E. TB, 34" (86 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Standards light hyacinth blue, heavily flushed bright plum on midrib; falls lobelia blue, fading to white with age; entire bloom highlighted with sparkling yellow.

Shimmering and haunting, this is the final, finest introduction to be released from the cross that produced Stormy Seas and Sunlit Waves. Light hyacinth blue standards are heavily flushed in the midribs with bright, intense plum-purple. Falls are a tone paler (lobelia blue), fading gracefully toward white as the flower ages.
