1983, Rudolph

'Lavender Heart' (Nate Rudolph, R. 1982). Seedling# 80-22. TB, 32" (81 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards light orchid, blending deeper at base; falls light lavender; lavender beard tipped tangerine; heavily ruffled; pronounced spicy fragrance. 'Lavender Ribbon' X 'Fringed Lace'. Klehm Nursery 1983.

From AIS Bulletin #248 January 1983 Introducing LAVENDER HEART-Sdlg. 80-22: (Lavender Ribbon X Fringed Lace). TB, 32", M. Overall color is an orchid blend. Top of the upright standards are light orchid, blending deeper at base. Wide, flaring falls are light orchid. Heavily ruffled. Lavender tipped tangerine beards. Quite fragrant. Four branches with 7 or more buds. Excellent plant habits. Fertile both ways. $25.00. Klehm Nursery.
