'Lavender Lion' (Donald Spoon, R. 2000). Seedling# 95-107A. TB, height 30" (76 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Standards and style arms creamy lavender; falls lavender, veined darker; beards darker lavender, darker horn; ruffled, flared. 'Thornbird' X 'What's Up Doc'. Winterberry 2000.

From AIS Bulletin #316 January 2000 Introducing Lavender Lion TB, SA, 30" (76 cm), ML. Flaring, ruffled bitone with creamy lavender standards and wide lavender falls with darker venation. Darker beards have even darker upturned fang-like appendages. Vigorous increaser. (Thornbird X What's Up Doc). $35.00. Winterberry Gardens.
