LeRoy Meininger, R. 1997). Seedling# Q-C 90-3. TB, 30" (76 cm). Early midseason bloom. Heavily ruffled white ground plicata, Standards densely peppered lavender, falls with heavily peppered 3/4" lavender edge; style arms medium lavender; beards gold, tipped lavender; pronounced sweet fragrance.
'Queen In Calico' X unknown (probably
'Jesse's Song', possibly
'Purple Pepper'). Monument, Woodland Iris 1997.

- This is one of the best lacy plicatas I have ever grown here in MS. It blooms early here, and the clump is loaded with stalks with a high bud count. I highly recommend this iris. -- WalterMoores - 08 Jan 2010
