From Tempo Two catalog, 1991: LEGATO (Blyth 91 Aust) M-ML 28". The name is a musical term meaning smooth or gliding. This a vibrant metallic orange that is very smooth with brilliant orange beards and excellent show branching. It won the Norman Caldwell award last season in the trial garden for the best garden Iris. It is a good parent giving plicatas and lovely orange shades.
