'Lemon Crest' (Nate Rudolph, R. 1975). Seedling# 74-10. TB, 33" (84 cm), Early bloom. Standards deep lemon yellow; falls white with 1/2" deep lemon yellow edge; deep yellow beard; ruffled. Seedling# 71-13: ( 'Lemon Mist' x seedling# 68-77) X 'Beige Melody'. Rudolph 1979. Honorable Mention 1981.

From AIS Bulletin #232 Winter 1979 Introducing LEMON CREST-Sdlg. 74-10: 71-13 X Beige Melody. TB, 33", E. The 6 x 4-1/2-inch, beautifully-formed blooms have horizontal falls which are quite ruffled. Standards are a brilliant star- dusted lemon yellow. The 3-inch wide horizontal falls are white with a 1/2-inch wide lemon yellow band and deep yellow beard, very ruffled and fluted. Heavy substance. Three branches with 7 or more buds. Plant habits are excellent and fertile both ways. HC '76. $25.00. Rudolph.
