'Lemon Meringue' (Luella Noyd, R. 1956). Seedling# N5-102. TB, 29" (74 cm). Late midseason bloom. Color Class Y4, Standards lemon yellow, large white area below beard; falls edged same as Standards. ('Midwest Gem' x 'New Horizon') x 'Song Of Songs'. Noyd 1957.

From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1963: LEMON MERINGUE (Noyd '57) M. VL. 30 in. (Midwest Gem x New Horiz.) x Song of Songs. A bright new iris with rich lemon stands and pure white falls bordered lemon and very heavily laced. A beauty. 1.00.
