From AIS Bulletin #228 Winter 1978 Introducing LEMONADE STAND-Sdlg. 74-34. TB, 32", E-M. (Flight of Angels x Flameburst). Lemon-yellow self with matching beard. Introduced primarily as a breeder iris, because it has the happy knack of passing on to its progeny its own outstanding ruffles, form and substance. In fact, it has been such a fine pod parent that I affectionately called it "Big Mama," before registering it. 7 to9 buds. Net $25.00. Mrs. William Bledsoe. |
