'Lilac Flounce' (Nate Rudolph, R. 1984). Seedling# 80-46. TB, 30" (76 cm), Midseason bloom. Ruffled lilac pink; tangerine beard tipped white; spicy fragrance. Seedling# 78-18: ((seedling# 71-09 x 'Pink Angel') x (seedling# 70-39 x seedling# 70-61)) X seedling# 78-02, sibling. Klehm Nursery 1985. High Commendation 1984.

From AIS Bulletin #256 January 1985 Introducing LILAC FLOUNCE-Sdlg. 80-46: (78-18 X 78-01). TB, 30" M. The overall color is a delicate shade of lilac-pink. Closed standards, flaring falls and very ruffled. Four branches with seven or more buds. Very fragrant. Fertile both ways. Prolific bloomer. Strong blood lines designed to produce white, yellow and pink with blue beards. (See inside back cover this Bulletin for color.) HC 1984. $25.00. Klehm Nursery.
