Standards blend of tuscan yellow (RHS 162B) and cocoa tan (RHS 177C); style arms canary yellow (RHS 9B); Falls blend of cocoa tan and tuscan yellow, tuscan yellow edges, blend of aster mauve (RHS 78C) and cocoa tan below beard, base veins of golden brown (RHS 164A), chrome yellow (RHS 15C) veining around shoulders; beards chrome yellow; slight spicy fragrance. 2026 Online Description: Standing proudly at 41 inches tall, Listening for Lions bears handsome blossoms in a distinctive blend of colors. The golds and tans blend to a small lavender area below the beards. With stalks bearing 7-8 buds, this lion colored iris produces vigorous increase. Listening for Lions received its name from the title of one of my favorite children’s chapter books. Parentage: Showy Lowy X Thundering Ovation
