From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1956: LOTHARIO (Schreiner 1942) M. L. 38 in. (Mme. M. Lassailey x Winnishiek). One of the very best of the neglecta group. Large, broad petaled flowers of flaring form with rich silky blue standards and dark ultramarine falls. Velvet like finish. H. M. 1945. 1.00.
From Walter Marx Gardens catalog 1957: LOTHARIO (Schreiner 1942) Each 1.00. Among the best of the near amoena type group, close in color pattern to AMIGO but twice its size and in tall branched stems. Light blue standards and dark plush ultramarine falls. Lightly frilled and fragrant. 38 inches. HM 1945.
