'Loudoun Delight' (George Crossman, R. 1974). Seedling# 7067. TB, 35" (89 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards orient pink (RHS 3C); falls apricot (4A); tangerine beard. 'Orchid Brocade' X 'Oak Brook'. Gene & Gerry's Iris 1977. Honorable Mention 1979.

From AIS Bulletin #225 Spring 1977 Introducing LOUDOUN DELIGHT (Crossman '77) $25.00. Sdlg. 70-67: Orchard Brocade X Oak Brook. TB, M, 35". Closed, overlapping standards of orient pink; flaring falls of apricot, graced with a tangerine beard, is the make-up of this ruffled beauty. Plant habits good-4 branches, 8 buds. Truly a delight! Gene & Gerry's Iris Gardens.
