Standards gray-blue, border and midrib gold leaf; falls gray-blue, border and haft gold leaf. ([[TbPthruT.TbSpanishPeaks]['Spanish Peaks']] x [[TbAthruE.TbChivalry]['Chivalry']]) x [[TbAthruE.TbCloudcap]['Cloudcap']]. Irisnoll 1956. Honorable Mention 1959; Judges' Choice 1959; Award of Merit 1963.

Oliver Flower Farm catalog, 1958: LULA MARGUERITE (!DeForest '56) M. 38" These flowers are large and ruffled and of a light blended blue coloring with a glittering golden edge on both standards and falls. The gilt-like edge appears to be almost painted on and deepens to a brushing of gold at the haft and at the base of the standards. $20.00 net.|  
|From Rainbow Hybridizing Gardens catalog 1963: LULA MARGUERITE (DeForest '56.) M-38". Unusual in coloring, unusual in pattern. An iridescent lilac-blue, petals bordered with glittering gold gilt.
