LUSCIOUS LEMON is an older iris not given enough praise. A lovely, soft light lemon, it consistently opens three perfect blooms per stalk. Standards are deeper lemon than the falls. [Margaret Dean, (NM), “How They Grow, New Mexico Style”, The Bulletin of the American Iris Society, No. 246 (July 1982): 14.]
