From G. G. Whitelegg catalog, 1921: LYNETTE. This is a Plicata, and the reddest toned variety of this type so far raised by Mr. Bliss. The Standards are broadly margined reddish mauve, and tinged coppery brown at the base. The falls are narrowly margined with light reddish violet on the blade to brown on the hafts. Free flowering with individual flowers of medium size, but a comparitively dwarf grower. |
