From AIS Bulletin #193 April 1969 Introducing MACONAQUAH (McCord 1969) TB 36" M. Sdlg. 6357. New Snow X Blue Sapphire. Medium-size cool white with frilled and lilting form of Blue Sapphire, excellent substance, blue-tipped beard; fragrant; rather high-branched but with good 3-way placement. Named for the White Flower of the Miami Indians, Frances Slocum. $20.00 net. Co-introduced with Sierra Vista Iris Gardens, Yucaipa, Calif. Forrest McCord.
