1994, Nelson

'Magellan' (Roger Nelson, R. 1994). Seedling# RN 86-73BY. TB, height 36" (91 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Standards icy blue violet (RHS 92D to 93D); falls deep violet blue (93B to 94B), aging lighter, with small spray pattern around gold orange beard; pronounced musky fragrance. 'Navy Strut' X seedling# RN 84-40L: ('Tumblin' Dice' x 'Social Hour'). Iris Country 1994
