Falls cream with heavy overlay and sanding of rose, especially on outer edges. Well branched stems. 33". Mid-season. $7.50. |
| From Milliken Iris Gardens catalog, 1948: MAGIC CARPET (Schreiner) A large rose and white plicata, the semi-flaring falls being much more colorful than the arched and wavy standards. The white center of the fall is only lightly dotted with rose but the borders are crowded with rosy lines forming a rather wide band. 2-1/2 feet. $4.00. |
