From Schreiner’s catalog, 2015: MAKIN’ GOOD TIME (Schreiner 2015) L. 40” $55.00. Here is a bicolor with few in its class, and even fewer with the finely chiseled form and sublime coloration of Makin’ Good Time. Pale primrose yellow standards are perfectly shaped. Grape purple falls are washed with inviting violet tones, and outlined with a catchy white border. Distinctive white veining flanks a light beard. With 40” stalks and 3 branches, this late-blooming mover makes a beautiful garden Iris. Check out our photo at left and on the cover. Seedling #YY422-B.
