■(TB) 'Marchesa'

2022, Smith

'Marchesa' (Marky Smith, R. 2018). Seedling 15-10V. TB, 33" (84 cm), Late to very late bloom. Standards pink-yellow ground, pale yellow-orange (RHS 18C) edge, midrib yellow-orange (23D), base covered with fine dark red-violet dots inside petal; style arms pale yellow, pale yellow-orange crest and sides, one pale orange vertical ruffle at end of midrib; falls primrose yellow ground, mauve infusion at distal tip, heavily veined purple more pronounced around beard, cream hafts, heavily ruffled clear primrose yellow edge; beards smoked greyed vermilon in throat and middle, tipped orange in middle, light yellow end.
