Standards absinthe yellow (M&P 12-J-2); style arms same, lavender midrib; falls oyster white (10-B-1) ground, ½˝ to ⁵⁄₈˝ concord (45-K-12) edge, ¹⁄₈˝ darker red-purple (47-L-11) outer band; beards pale corn yellow (10-I-5), faint lavender at extreme end.

From Keith Keppel Iris catalog, 2017: MARGIN CALL M 35” (Reckless Abandon X (Tangled Web x (90-82E, sib to Oreo pod parent, x Storm Track))) #09-87A. Absinthe yellow standards, oyster white falls. The 1/2” to 5/8” marginal fall band of concord purple becomes a darker, redder purple on the outer edge. Pale yellow beards carry a faint lavender tinge at the end. Makes a striking show with six- to nine-budded stalks despite its somewhat greyed color tones. $50.00. |
