'Marion Ackerman' (James McWhirter, R. 1980). Seedling# J77-44-1. TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason bloom. Heavily ruffled and laced violet-blue (RHS 91C); tangerine beard. Denney seedling# D72-131: ('Cloverdale' x 'Cloud Capers') X 'Monaco'. Cottage Gardens 1982. See below:
