References:

From Indian Spring Farms catalog, 1927: MARIPOSA (Mohr 1923). A very late-flowering variety from California that is perfectly hardy everywhere. The medium-sized Bowers, wellpoised on fine, branched stems, are pale porcelain-blue, with the falls variably marked with red-purple. 36 inches. $1.00 each.
