Millet et Fils, irises and new peonies 1930-1931, p. 16.
From Quality Gardens catalog 1931: MAROUF (Ma-roof’) (Millet 1926) L. 36". An enormous flower. S. grayish rose, overlaid lilac; F. a deep amaranth red shading to lavender at the edges. It may be described as a much darker, richer and more intensely colored Asia. Very good. $2.00.
