'Marrakesh' (Tom Craig, R. 1960). Seedling# RK-8-16. TB, 36" (91 cm), Early to late bloom. Color Class R3. Standards hematite red; falls granada red; java haft; brown-gold beard. ('Savage' x 'Molten') X red seedling from 'Savage', 'Molten' and 'Cordovan' breeding. Craig 1960.

From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1963: MARRAKESH (Craig '60) M.L. 38 in. (Savage x Molten) x Sdlg from Savage, Molten and Cordovan lines). Another brilliant violet rose blend much on the order of Royal Ruby and Witches Brew. This has a more intense coloring and very deep haft of Java brown. Swell. 10.00.
