'Marsh Light' (Leslie Donnell, R. 1979). Seedling# 76-32-7. TB, 32" (81 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Standards yellow (15B); falls yellow with blue blaze down center and brown infusion at haft; greyed yellow (162A) beard. 'Marshlander' X 'Gypsy Prince'. Keppel 1983, Tempo Two. Favorite Guest 1984; Honorable Mention 1985.

From AIS Bulletin #249, April 1983 Introducing MARSH LIGHT (Donnell) EM 34" (Marshlander X Gypsy Prince) Won award for "most unusual color" in Florence, 1982. Golden yellow standards; falls blended yellow, lavender, greenish gold, with striking violet blaze. From Australia. $25.00. Keith Keppel.
From Tempo Two catalog, 1983: MARSH LIGHT (Les Donnell '83 Aust.) E-M 34" Sdlg. 76-32-7. Marsh Light is being co-introduced internationally this year with Keith Keppel in California. It has done very well in American gardens and likewise won an award in Italy as the best new colour in 1982. This only makes it difficult to describe. Standards are yellow, falls are yellow with a brown infusion and a strong blue blaze down the centre of falls. Hafts are deeply infused brown, beards are yellow. (Marshlander x Gypsy Prince). $20.00.
