'Masthead' (Paul Smith, R. 1975). Seedling# 68-77-1. TB, 43" (109 cm), Midseason bloom. Ruffled and fluted warm white self; white beard. 'Lovilla' X 'Ellen Manor'. P Smith 1976.

From AIS Bulletin #221 April 1976 Introducing MASTHEAD-Sdlg. 68-77-1. TB, 43", M. (Lovilia X Ellen Manor). This will certainly stand out in any garden. Huge, fluted and ruffled white flowers on 3/4 inch stalks; nice branching. $25.00. Paul Smith.
