From Maple Valley Gardens catalog, 1954: MAUVE QUEEN, No. 4926 (MEXICAN MAGIC X GYPSY ROSE). Late, 30 inches. A smooth harmony of rosy violet tones. By the Wilson chart, mauve, shaded phlox purple with pansy violet flush in center fall. The beard and haft are wax yellow. Large, oval flowers of firm and lasting quality. $10.00. |
