'Melissa's Smile' (Patricia McNeal, R. 2023) Seedling 12-03-E, 'Golden Princess' sibling, TB, 38" (96.5 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Standards pale lavender, age lighter with slightly darker veins, speckled in throat; ruffled and serrated; style arms white, lavender stripe on sides, crests 1/2" tall, white with brown and/or lavender stripes, serrated with occasional lace; falls dark blue-violet, white semicircle around beard overlaid dark blue-violet lines and dots, pale blue to white dart from bottom edge extending upward 1/3 to 1/2 on petal; gently ruffled, light lace; beards bushy, yellow orange; pronounced sweet fragrance.
