'Melody' (Henry Sass, R. 1954). Seedling# 51-50. TB, 36" (91 cm). Midseason bloom. Color Class V4, Pastel lilac (Wilson 437) and plum purple (Wilson 934). 'Amigo' x 'Wabash'. Fleur de Lis 1955.

From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1956: MELODY (Sass 1955) M. L. 37 in. (Amigo x Wabash). A very showy amoena of large size and very claar coloring. The stands are pale blue of so light a shade they appear silver and the falls are rich blue violet with a smooth velvety finish. 10.00.
