1966, Corey

'Menemsha' ('Mrs. P. E. Corey, R. 1963). Seedling# 5-Z-l. TB, 29" (74 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Color Class-OY5L, tandards deep peach-pink blend; falls same, tiny white spot below reddish-orange beard, deeper edges. ('Frances Kent' x 'Party Dress') X 'Gala Gown'. Corey, Pride 1966.

From AIS Bulletin #181 April 1966 Introducing MENEMSHA. $25 NET. 5-Z-1: ((Frances Kent x Party Dress) x Gala Gown)). HC 63, McKee Award '63. Full ruffled blooms with closed standards and semi-flaring falls. The color is a smooth blending of yellow, pink and apricot giving a definite burnt orange effect in the sun. The plant is floriferous, has good increase, and makes a low clump (28"-30") of glowing color. Midseason. Mrs. P. E. Corey.
