Standards light lemon yellow, center paler; style arms bright yellow; falls warm white, 1/4" lemon yellow rim, medium yellow plicata veins and dotting at haft; beards yellow; ruffled, lightly laced; slight sweet fragrance. Parentage unknown -- possibly involving
'Debutante Ball',

From AIS Bulletin #301 April 1996 Introducing MESCAL, TB, L, 40". A yellow plicata, S. light lemon yellow, paler in the center, F. warm white with a quarter-inch rim of lemon yellow and medium yellow plicata veins and dots at the haft, style arms bright yellow, beard yellow. Large blooms are well ruffled and lightly laced. Sturdy well branched stalks carry eight buds. Fertile both ways. Fragrant. Parentage unk., but probably from Debutante Ball, Flaming Light, and TB plicata seedlings. #YU17. $30.00. Jim & Vicki Craig. |
