From Maple Valley Gardens catalog, 1947: MEXIA (Whiting-Crow) No. 426 (MATULA X CHINA MAID) E. M. 34 inches. Mrs. E. L. Crow of Mexia, Texas, named this one. It is deep copper rose, similar to THREE OAKS, and has been sold under number to hundreds of visitors. Mrs. Ray also lists. $1.00. |
