From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1956: MIDNIGHT BLUE (Schreiner 1954) E. M. 35in. (Black Forest x Chivalry). A very dark violet blue of nice form and silken finish. A very showy and floriferous iris, this is sure to be a favorite. 6.00.
