From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog, 1999: MILLENNIUM (Tompkins 99) ML 38" This is a large flowered Iris of perfect semi-flaring form. Its beautifully domed standards are broad and ruffled done in a pale Chamois Taffy color and its semi-flaring very wide falls are colored in a rather striped way of many shades of Red. Very different and attracts everyone. Keith Keppel and I first noticed its attractive striped pattern, at the same time as we made note of the other clean lines and depth of color of an Orange seedling we at once named Messiah. #93-117A. $40.00. |
