From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1963: MISS ALAMEDA (Awalt '60) M.L. 38 in. (Sass 49-100 x Belle Meade) x Caroline Jane. Huge, full, ruffled blooms with six day substance to them. The white ground is very clean and bright and the violet edging is heavier on the standards and at the hafts but circles the falls neatly narrowing at the tips. Big flowers, well spaced on strong stalks. 10.00. |
