1997, Burseen

'Miss Piggy' (Tom Burseen, R. 1997). Seedling# 1-127B. TB, height 35" (89 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Standards dark plum purple (RHS 79A); style arms black; falls blackish burgundy, white haft striations; beards gold; ruffled; sweet fragrance. Seedling# 9-153: (('Afternoon Delight' x 'Sooner Serenade') x 'Burnt Crisp') X seedling# 9-220: ('Bluid' x 'Quite Quaint'). TB's Place 1997. Honorable Mention 2000.
