From Mission Gardens catalog, 1963: MISSION MOONLIGHT (Mission Gardens 1962) (Seedling No. 57-43). In our estimation this iris has perfection of form. The falls are broad, arched, flared and ruffled. The standards are nicely domed, ruffled and folded into a beautiful ruffled crest at the top. The color is cream with light yellow border and gold beard. The flowers are of small size and nicely spaced on stems 28 to 30 inches high. Stands up perfectly in all kinds of weather. A lovely companion to Regal Ruffling. $20.00 |
