'Misty Rainbow' (Bernard Hamner, R. 1981). Seedling# 77-101. TB, 34" (86 cm), Late midseason bloom. Standards rose-purple (RHS 75B); falls ruffled rhodamine purple (68D). touch of blue and creamy wash overall that intensifies with age; tangerine beard. (('Misty Dawn' x 'Touché') x 'Becky Lee' seedling) X ('New Moon' x 'Becky Lee'). Hamner 1981.

From AIS Bulletin #241 April 1981 Introducing MISTY RAINBOW-TB, ML, 34". Pastel rose-purple stands are wide and upright. The ruffled falls are a blend of rhodamine purple, light blue and cream. A creamy wash overall intensifies as the flower ages. Tangerine beards. Sdlg. 77-101: ((Misty Dawn x Touche) x Becky Lee sdlg.) x (New Moon x Becky Lee). $25.00. Hamner's Iris Garden.
