Monty Byers, R. 1987). Seedling# D164-102. TB, 38" (97 cm), Midseason to late bloom and re-bloom. Heavily ruffled pale violet-blue, misty green white center on falls; medium blue beard tipped yellow in throat; slight sweet fragrance.

From AIS Bulletin #269 April 1988 Introducing MISTY TWILIGHT (TB) 38", M-L. Violet Miracle X (Cease-Fire x Sky Hooks). Pale violet-blue with misty green-white centers on F.; blue beards. Very large, well formed, ruffled flowers on towering thick stalks with wide branching. Strength that rivals Violet Miracle, and its rebloom starts even earlier here--early September. $30.00. Moonshine Gardens. From 1988 Avonbank Gardens catalog: MISTY TWILIGHT (Byers 88) VIOLET MIRACLE X (Cease-Fire x Sky Hooks). Very large pale violet flowers with misty green fall centers and blue beards, on tall show stalks. Incredible vigor. Rebloomed Sept. on in CA. |
