From AIS Bulletin #329 April 2003 Introducing MONA LORRAINE - TB-40"-M. A grand-daughter asked us to name this beautiful cultivar in honor of her much loved grandmother. This bi-color has golden-yellow standards that are brushed lightly with bronze. The midribs are shaded a light purple-red. Style arms are the same color as the standards. Falls are deep burgundy with a violet stripe down the center of the fall. Rich gold beards put the final touch on "Mona". (Flamenco Whirl X (Bronze Lace x Hamner 87-3). $30.00. Shepard Iris Garden. |
