From AIS Bulletin #224 Winter 1977 Introducing MONEY (Bernice Roe) seemed to be a fitting name for this dark yellow to gold iris. There is a lighter butter-yellow area beneath the self beard. As the best can be expected for Money, the flower is rounded, full and poised. Making the final selection from this cross, West Coast X New Moon, proved to be difficult for both Bernice and I, but this seemed to be the best for form, sunfast coloring and healthy growth. Branching and bUd count are in the tradition of New Moon. Color photo on cover by Keith Keppel. HC '76. $25.00. Pacific Coast Hybridizers.
